Re: What are you watching? V.1
At the moment I'm watching the last episode of Hidamari Sketch's first season because the fourth season is starting this Fall.
I watched the first episode months ago and decided it was something I'd take my time to watch.
But now, you know, for the fourth season, I want to catch up.

Re: What are you watching? V.1
I think I mentioned this in another topic but right now I am watching:
Tari Tari
Kokoro Connect
Sword Art Online
Dakara Boku wa, H ga Dekinai
Kono Naka ni Hitoria, Imouto ga Iru!
Oda Nobuna no Yabou
Also, Sket Dance, catching up on some older episodes...
Kind of hard for me to drop a series once I start, and I admit that each of these series hold my attention some way or another. Dakura Boku wa, H ga Dekinai, Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate and Kono Naka ni Hitori, Imouto ga Iru! are typical harem anime so nothing too unique or engaging about them. They are good for a laugh sometimes, Dakura Boku is really heavy on the H-ness (Females losing their clothes, crude humor) I must admit. Makes you chuckle sometimes, other times feels horribly cliche. Really I don't like harem anime that much but, they are good for humor. Not something I would really consider watching twice or find any "inspiration" from if you know what I mean. Definitely would not watch these with anyone else in the room.
Sword Art Online, an interesting title. The drama is heavy and the serious tone really sets this series apart from others I think. The cruel reality of things makes you ponder the future of MMO games, whether or not virtual reality really could end up like this. Again, its a very exaggerated scenario, but intriguing nonetheless.
Oda Nobuna No Yabou, manages to hold my interest. Must be the faux-historical plot, alternate reality thing going on. The master-slave relationship between Nobuna and "monkey" (he is called) reminds me a lot of Dakara Boku with Lisara and the male protagonist (forgot his name). The drama is interesting, as if one actions actually have consequence (similar to Sword Art Online).
Tari Tari and Kokoro Connect, your slice of life, drama-filled series that bring a lot to the table (in my opinion). Some people don't really like sentimental or emotionally "deep" anime, but mainly these sort of factors and criteria influenced my founding of this site. Generally, I would not mind sharing or watching these anime with someone (they are posted on this site after all). At the end of the day, watching something that is emotionally moving, or perhaps a tear-jerker is worthwhile to me.
Sket Dance is also a surprising series. The overall tone is very light-hearted and playful. However, it has it serious moments. These scenes tend to be hidden through out the show and come when you least expect it, so it is a pleasant surprise. A long series though I must admit (some 70+ episodes).
In terms of manga I am reading Kimi no Iru Machi and Good Ending primarily (being a fan of slice of life/romance genre).

Whoa, that's quite a lot to be watching at once but I bet this is more:
The thing is, I kind of just decided to type out all of the ones I'm actually watching,
because some of the ones in "Watching", on the list in my sig, I actually have on hold.
So, it wasn't that I was trying to beat anyone in the number of anime I'm watching. xD

Re: What are you watching? V.1
Hmm..that is awesome. I guess you are watching alot of the anime that I happen to be. If your list is correct it would seem like SAO (Sword Art Online) is going past 12 episodes, to 25? That would be interesting if that were the case.
Only have so much time for anime haha. I guess if you were on summer vacation you would have time to watch tons of episodes each day. Though I think one would experience burnout?
I feel that you get a difference viewing experience by watching one episode of said anime once a week rather than marathon-ing it that's just me though.
I did watch a little bit (as in one episode) of Joshiraku. However, for some reason it couldn't hold my interest. I feel it didn't have the charm of Natsuiro Kiseki for example. The closest thing I can relate it to is a female version of "Daily Lives of High School Boys", the anime that just premiered. Maybe it picks up later on.

Re: What are you watching? V.1
That would be the case.
I am on my Summer Vacation but I'm not really marathoning anything either, at the moment.
From my list, most of them are currently airing. So, I watch them once a week. Deadman Wonderland is finished airing but I'm watching the English version, which is on Toonami (not that I watch it on there), and it also finished airing all episodes in English (but I still have an episode to watch, which will likely be tomorrow).
I'm watching an episode of Ghost Hunt a day,
and Hidamari Sketch whenever I feel like it (and I really hope I can catch up before October).
Overall, I watch about 3-5 episodes a day, not as much as I really thought I would during Summer, pretty much the same as before.

Re: What are you watching? V.1
I finished Kanokon today I don't know why I even watched it because the manga had much more of a plot and I still didn't get to wherever the translation is at.
I'm watching a lot of those things too but I can say not Hidamari Sketch and I haven't yet tried Sket Dance.
Also I'm watching the dub and I have a lot of anime I enjoy more but I've never disliked an episode of Bleach. Except maybe that episode I last watched where nothing happened because they recapped what happened before the last filler arc. To be honest I don't know how it kept my interest 266 episodes. Only 100 more. Despite popular belief, it is not 400+ episodes.
