Love Live! School Idol Project

I just saw on MyAnimeList.net that this is apparently a slice of life, so it's worth a shot, I guess.


(About that, I think it would make sense to have images in the recommendations, but I'm not sure if this is really an image that is promoting the anime, or something from before the anime was announced, as there were music videos back then)

It's an Idol anime, so well, if you don't like idols, you probably won't like it, but apparently some people that don't like idols try idol anime and sometimes like it, so I think it's really worth trying.

I know that school idols aren't a thing that really happens, and if they do, it's probably only a very small number of schools in Japan. (I don't think they're a thing), but hey, it is normal within the context of the show, and I suppose there would be no other way this could classify as slice of life. It's also more along the lines of what idols to every day, mixed in with the normal slice of life.

But then again, I didn't yet see the anime that seemed to start the whole idol thing, Idolmaster, and that is slice of life, so I guess it's more like I didn't yet see enough idol anime yet to truly see if most of them are slice of life or not. Except for the fact that I'm watching 3 right now, and the other 2 are not slice of life. Sorry for the rambling at the end. Or in between if it happened to happen then.
