Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun
Synopsis
Mizutani Shizuku is the type of person who only cares for her own grades. But when she accidentally delivers lesson notes to Yoshida Haru, he becomes convinced they are friends.
Haru turns out to have a very innocent personality, but who would've thought that Haru would actually confess to Shizuku?
A cold-hearted girl and super-troublemaker romance with a fresh new perspective.

It's a Shoujo but I very much recommend it. I think this is going to be very funny all the way through.

- Thoughts on episode 1:
- There were a bunch of parts where I laughed and when Haru was beating someone up and all like, "This guy is robbing me!", I was like No, he's not. You're preventing him from robbing you because you're beating him up. He was only TRYING to rob you. But I guess anime can be weird like that sometimes.

Re: Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun
Hmm, I did take a gamble and watched the first episode. Wasn't terrible I suppose. HIGHLY reminiscent of Kaichou-wa Maid Sama, that is the only thing. In terms of shojou it seems like this sort of story has been told to death (both characters being the top of their class etc.), but maybe that's just me. We'll see how the story plays out though.
Granted I did read a view chapters of the manga, so I knew previously what was coming. That does have somewhat of a different effect on your perception of the story. Being "spoiled" a little bit before hand I guess?

To be honest, the synopsis didn't convince me to try it, and furthermore, I was only going to try it to keep myself occupied. Though, after watching the first episode, It's an anime that I'm actually excited for the most this season. And I recommend for the comedy.
- I got really off topic:
- And I wouldn't say reading some of a manga before watching the anime really "spoils" a little bit. It's just that you know a bit before. It sounds the same but it's more like it doesn't spoil it unless you want to watch the anime first.
I myself have read some of Accel World before watching the anime for it, and it doesn't bother me that I read some of Date a Live and that anime hasn't even aired. So, again, it depends on how you see it yourself.
